It was a fun movie, but not without its problems.
Okay, so the acting wasn't great and there were some quirky CGI issues, but I enjoyed the movie for what it was. It didn't deserved the plastering that it received upon release.
The plot is disjointed and needed some help, but it told a decent story and shined in a few spots. The battle scenes were cool and when the CGI scenes needed to be good, they looked pretty tight. It seems like they blew through their budget with the sets and the pristine CGI shots, but they had little left over to finish other scenes (the lion scene and some horse riding shots). So, it's inconsistent in quality.
But it's still better than most SyFy Channel outings. It's worth a watch.
