sharelol. I don't think they went overboard, they just didn't have the budget to do a really great job on the makeup. That's probably why nobody else looked different as the years went by...because they used it all on Columbus. Plus I'm sure the lace front wigs took a big bite out of the budget between Jeffrey, Mos Def, Beyonce, and Columbus (and most of them had multiple ones).
