My thoughts (Jeffrey wright, the movie as a whole, etc)

I am convinced that if this movie centered around Muddy Waters that Jeffrey Wright would win an Oscar hands down. I mean, the man BECAME Muddy! I've always loved Wright, and consider him the most underrated actor of our generation.

Little Walter & Howlin' Wolf were both great as well.

Even though I didn't really like Cadillac records as a whole (Brody kept going "uh" -- c'mon, uh!) I really hoped this movie would reach a wide audience because that'd give hollywood a hint that people love to see the lives of these great musicians! then who knows... we could see each one of them eventually get his stand-alone movie!

Sonny Boy Williamson 2 is next! I think KEITH DAVID could play him well.

Yes, Jeffrey Wright was excellent. But that thing they stuck in his bottom lip was distracting and unnecessary.

I missed what ever was in his mouth but I did notice that he kept mummbling to me! I kept asking my husband, "what did he say"! That explains the mummbling!

And yes... Wright I one of the most underated actors a live!
