shareThis film has more anachronisms than any movie I have seen in in the history of motion pictures. I get the feeling that the filmmakers were creating their own make believe universal. A lot of things were way out of place. This is a good example of what happens when Art Directors and writers do not research their materal and just rely on what they think looks "COOL" for the screen..
shareTheir timeline was so messed up that it ruined the whole movie. They had The Rolling Stones recording at Chess in the 50's, then they have Elvis getting drafted in that late 60's... and then no mention of Sun Records who's studio Chess used in the early days (Rocket 88 was recorded at Sun, as was Howlin' Wolf)It's as if they did no research AT ALL!

That's the reason why I turned this movie off after I started seeing things there were wrong. When they put the sign up with the 45 RPM record on it, I thought no one in the making of this film did any research to get anything correct. i think they were only interested in the music. They should have done a tribute concert and album instead of a messed up movie.
