At 1 hour, 21 minutes, 30 seconds approximately, Leonard stoops down and, watching from a shot which shows his back, we see him putting his hands already on Etta's shoulders. The next frame shows him still getting down.
MAJOR flaw.
Shame.
There are many flaws in this movie. It's a great story, that was thrown away and replaced with a load of made up crap, and Beyonce ego stroking...

'Then' and 'than' are different words - stop confusing them.
It's called a continuity error and every film has dozens of them.
