What difference does that make to the film?.

I am 9 yrs younger than my partner, a friend is married to a man 20 yrs older than her and a cousin of mine is with a woman 10 yrs his junior who is currently having their first child.

I think it's pretty common. I'm 11 years older than my husband. My ex is 13 years older than me.

Their real life chronological age has zero to do with the characters they portray. They are ACTORS.

Ryan Reynolds is 11 years older than his real life wife. They are consenting adults so it makes no difference.

The age difference between the characters they were playing was less. Besides, it's totally realistic that a straight young guy would go for an older woman, if she looked like that.
