It is awful. Reminds of Sci Fi channel's saturday night stinker movies only with a bigger budget. Budget isn't helping it. Still awful
shareIt really wasn't that bad, even with the zombies--I'm just not a zombie fan. It had good pacing and I thought the way Gabriel used his wings as shields was really pretty innovative. It wasn't Biblical, but the whole good vs. evil thing played pretty well, even though the lines were fairly blurred between the sides. I think a lot of people are becoming used to the idea of angels being God's army as well as being God's messengers, so it had appeal to the masses who like the supernatural horror genre.
Yep, there were plenty of plot holes. Yep, the supporting characters were not drawn with a lot of complexity. But it was a good way to spend a couple of hours and time passed quickly enough to tell me I was engaged in the story. I'd give it a 6 out of 10, maybe as much as a 7 just because I'm in a good mood.
