Christianity began to suffer as those loyal to God resented his love now. Jeep and Charlie are still constantly moving all over the country, looking for the prophets that will play a role in their son, Elijah's prophecy. Their journey comes to an end when Michael gets word that Lucifer has come to Earth in human form in order for Charlie to bear his child. Michael vows to find them and keep them safe. He swoops to Earth in mortal form once again and rounds up yet another arsenal. He steals a pick up truck and heads for Colorado, where Jeep, Charlie, and Elijah have seek refuge in a small two story motel in the woods. There, they meet the eccentric manager, a friendly widower named Amos, a failed priest named Father Garret, an runaway foster child named Mary, and a married couple known as the Creeds. When a man in the last room hangs himself, Kyle Williams' twin brother and police officer, Josh Williams is called to the scene. Just as the body is taken away, Jeep and Charlie approach Josh and confess to knowing his brother and that he sadly died. Down the road, the ambulance carrying the suicide victim is rammed by a large, black van and crashes. The group of people driving it get out and kill the paramedics. They steal the man's body and take it into the woods to conduct a ritual. Soon, the man's body comes back to life, inhabited with Satan inside. The people were clearly possessed by demons. The group soon takes over a few more victims with demon possession and grow a rather large mob. They make their way to the motel, but Michael has beaten them there. He informs Jeep and Charlie of what is gonna happen. Jeep arms his family as well as the other motel guests. However, things go from bad to worse when Michael learns that against God's wishes, Gabriel has also ascended to Earth and wants revenge on Jeep and Charlie. He wants them and their son dead, so he's ready to assist the Devil in his personal quest for procreation. As the group fights back to protect Charlie and Elijah, they all soon form a bond with one another that Jeep begins to believe is the end of their journey to find the long lost prophets, who just might not know of their true destiny yet. Michael knows that if Lucifer doesn't get to Charlie, then Gabriel will, and that they must fulfill the prophecy at the motel in order to find the true power to save them all.)
