Why is the Messiah Kleatus: The slack jawed yockel?

I understand that he was chosen because he had spirit, or courage, whatever... But, why him? He doesn't even know how to work a computer, I'm sure.
C'mon, there are millions of inhabitants on this earth. Why bother with Kleatus?

Meh... Who cares, I suppose. If this film was released in 3D it'll get a lot more attention, I'm sure.

mary, according to the book of myths was a virgin.. Charlie's character in the movie didn't care who the father was..thus, the messiah, still could be a "slack jawed yokel named Cleatus"..

that doesn't know how to use a computer.. it's all a crap shoot.

some days, it's not worth chewing through the restraints..
