Best scene is the one with the little old lady (Gladys) in the diner

Not sure why this film has such low ratings on rottentomatoes.
It was decent as a thriller overall -- entertaining enough for tv or Netflix (although I sure wouldn't have wanted to pay a full fare for tickets to see it at the cinema).

Best scene was the scene with the little old lady in the diner. Must have been an homage to the Exorcist III, but done much better than in Exorcist III.
Unfortunately, Legion never quite makes it back to that level during the rest of the film.

The Ice Cream Man had the potential to top the Old Lady's stunt, but he got off'd way too easily. I wish he lasted more than those 2 seconds of screen time, because I found him to be effectively creepy. Instead we got an overdose of possessed people; that part needed toning down. The Kid, though, was a close second to the Old Lady.

And I agree. I don't understand either why this movie has such low ratings everywhere. I thought it was good for what it was (except maybe for a couple scenes of bad acting). This isn't one of those cases of universal-panning by the audience. The Last Airbender got universally-panned because it was just utter crap from top to bottom. It failed miserably at what it was trying to be (not to mention the bad narration, script, acting, action, casting, you name it), while I thought Legion was decent for what it was.
