that's who I like to sum this flick up for people who haven't seen it.

You have time traveler/angel who is sent to from the future/heaven to protect the birth mother for the savior of the world because Skynet/God has deemed the child to be the chosen one to save humanity.

In the end she drives off getting ready to prepare her child for the future battle of the apocalypse/apocalypse

Agreed. I watched it last night and the similarities were so painfully obvious. In fact, they seem to have gone out of their way to purposely make it identical to Terminator, especially towards the end where she is driving off in a bandana, followed by the shot of the road. I kept waiting for the buh-buh, buh-bah-dah and Terminator theme music to start.

The opening was such a blatant steal from Terminator it might as well have been called Terminator: Angel Apocalypse
