Well that's another 2 hours of my life lost!

We watched this last night because I usually like supernatural films like this, but honestly, what a waste of a film. The idea was brilliant - God is testing his angels, he's lost his faith in mankind, a new baby will save humankind. And then it turned into a cross between Assault on Precinct 13 and any number of Zombie films. It got really, really boring with the constant shooting dead of the possessed people and the picking off of the Diner customers and staff one by one until just the 2 and baby survived. It could have been more like the original Omen and a lot more atmospheric. It could have been more biblical and accurate with it. Paul Bettany was good as a tortured Archangel Michael going against the word of God but that was it. And WHY weren't the Diner people possessed too? They were all equally messed up people so prime candidates for possession as well.

I wish the Hollywood machine would stop churning out such rubbish but take more time with the scripts and the words rather than shoot outs, explosions and car chases. I'm very glad that I didn't go to the cinema to watch this because it would have been a colossal waste of money.

So, Legion is added to my list of waste of time films along with Snow Beast (SO bad that I actually feel quite fondly towards it) and another one viewed recently which I can' remember at the moment!
