That's one way to approach this. The extremes of the bored rich and an economy based on tourism. As per some of the comments on here, the cloning is a ridiculous idea, and it would end up with no locals left. Unless they're all clones too. Just an excuse for the police and government to get rich. Mia's overblown performance was perfect for it.
