I don't understand how anyone could say she was great. Her pefromance for the first 2/3rds was just one not monotone and then in the last third she just starts hamming it up to the point it was annoying.

i thought she was good for first 2/3 and then yes, way over the top for the last 1/3.

I wanted to laugh at how absurd she became in the 3rd act.

I think that was the point. Purposely going overboard with the performance, which was the whole reason she was there in the first place. Then back to the bus to the airport, and some degree of normality.
