not sure about this one (spoilers)
If you want a coherent story this may not be for you. If you want to see Margaret Qualley naked this is for you. The acting is inconsistent and the two leads are outshined by Benny Safdie the second he comes on screen. Reminded me of the same type of movie as The Year of Living Dangerously, but doesn't create the same level of tension. I believe that filming during COVID had to contribute to this as there are very few extras and it makes the film feel empty at times. Could have been about a 1/2 hour shorter to tighten it up.
