I really enjoyed the fact that it was set in a different location. It was nice to see a Hallmark movie not set in a big city or random Christmas town. It really added a bit of worldliness to the film.

I liked the concept of Lacey's character wanting to do more than just the '10 best places tour' and not being able to help herself giving an extra experience to the guests. That causing her to be fired and then her trying her hand at her own business was inspirational to me.

And.....thanks to this movie I discovered what a croquembouche is and am now determined to make one for Christmas this year :)

I used to make fun of Hallmark movies and tv shows. But now in my elderhood I have found there's a place in my heart for things that are "nice". I still enjoy some violence, sex, darkness, grit, and despair, but sometimes I need a vacation and Hallmark is a good place to start.

definitely. I still have a chuckle at the plots. I just bought a set of Hallmark Christmas movie bingo cards to play with the family. It's just silly fluff. But it's nice. Especially with all the craziness going on between the pandemic and the election, some times it's nice to just turn off the news and chill on the sofa and watch a easy movie. The royal themed ones are my favorite.
