DOUCHEBAGS!

How the hell could they remake a brilliant horror classic like Suspiria?! IT MAKES VIRTUALLY NO BLOODY SENSE!!!

If your enemy refuses to be humbled....DESTROY HIM!

reply

damn right I just found this out.

reply

WHAT WILL THEY REMAKE NEXT? PSYCHO?

there's nothing to be done about it. just roll with the punches. and the remakes.

reply

Hate to break it to you, but Psycho was remade in '98 by Gus Van Sant. And it was horrible. of course. Is nothing sacred anymore?

reply

LOL dude, that's what I was referring to. Give it up. The remakes will continue no matter what.

reply

I can't think of a worst remake, not because Suspiria is my favorite horror movie, but because Suspiria is such an original one of a kind horror movie. Dark and colored atmosphere, creepy music, and significant character devolopment; that doesn't happen in Hollywood.

LEAVE ARGENTO ALONE!!!

Also knowns as:
-Lina Luna Tenebre Lovegood
-The Suspiria

reply

Oh dear, on finding this out i suddenly have the most sickly feeling inside. I actually feel nautious. HOW COULD THEY?!

reply

NO S HIT! What the HELL, Hollywood? First The Wicker Man, then Cannibal Holocaust, and now EFFING SUSPIRIA? Why must you kill off my favorite films one by one!?

THE MARQUIS: HES IN UR PRISONS, RITIN TEH SMUTFIC

the fact that David Gorodon Green's name is on it makes it interesting. It would have taken me a hundred guesses to guess he'd be the guy with his name on it. But who knows, if its *beep* we'll still have the original. Look at movies like Breathless and Psycho, no one even remembers the remakes anymore.

What would be really interesting is if David Lynch was to direct. Him doing a Giallo seems like such a great match when you think about things like Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway.

reply

We KNOW why they remake movies like this: $$$

Plus, writers have run out of good material for original horror movies on top of Hollywood being a business of "who you know," which prevents a lot of great unheard of writers of ever getting a shot!
