Remakes I don't have issues with, but THIS....

Dario Argento is many things, and his films are definitely...(looking for a word)......unique. He has a very distinctive style that aims for artistic quality over commercial value. I'm not opposed to a remake of one of his works, provided whoever's doing it plans on taking it seriously. I'm not sure whether David Gordon Green is the guy for the job. This is not a blockbuster, he should know going into this movie that it probably won't be a widespread success. But if he tries to turn it into a blockbuster, then I fear for us all.

On a side note, I am excited that Isabelle Fuhrman is involved, although I'm not quite sure whether she is the kind of actress they should be looking at.
