Remakes are inevitable, but...
...I don't care who the director is, with a "naturalist" cinematographer ans Steve Jablonsky doing the music? I don't high hopes for this remake being in the spirit of the original. If you try to "do your own thing" and make it natural Hollywood scare-fest, this will fade into obscurity and will not ever achieve the status of the original. So, remake away...then quickly fade away.
