This board is refreshing

I want to be careful how I put this, so as not to come off as a snob...but maybe because this film is quite serious and to want to comment on it you appreciate the mature themes enough to have a certain degree of maturity yourself, or maybe because it is a smaller film with a relatively smaller audience and that will thin out potential commentators, but this board is more like what I wish IMDB was and not what it is, unfortunately.

I really want to comment on films or tv shows and on other boards run into an incredible amount of mean, petty, repetitive comments by people engaged in flame wars or trolling or who just linger all day on the board and from their posts it is quite obvious that they don't get out much. For intelligent discussions of films I usually have to go elsewhere, although luckily I can find such places on the interwebs. Ok, rant over.
