One of my favorite films.

i don't get why some people try to undermine the greatness of this movie.
Great cast, story, locale, everything.
There a simpleness and authenticity in this film incomparable to what we see in cinema of late.
No famcy special effects but pure emotions.
If you watch the special features documentary of the film and making it, you will just love it more.
On this movie, I began my fascination with Miss Woodley. I also see a diffrent side to Me. Clooney.

I agree. Its a great film. Beautifully made, great story, great actors, and simply made. This film got me through my brother passing away last year. I find this movie to be soothing regarding loss of a family member.

When I started watching this movie and when it got to the 20 min mark, I said to myself, "OMG, I think this is going to be a pefect movie... a masterpiece". This is one of the best movies that I've seen since its release.

Although this film is in a genre very far from the type of films I usually enjoy, I ended up catching this randomly on TV one day...and it has become one of my all time favorites. The film is simply a masterpiece, and is not manipulative or "hollywood" at all...and shailene Woodley IMO deserved an oscar nod for her incredible performance
