A plot guess

After watching the show up to "Time to Face the Music" I have a guess about a posible future plot.

The coming attractions had Griffin and Harper saying something that if Harper couldn't make it Griffin would go alone, presumably into the past to try to save Savannah.

So possibly Harper can't leave home and Griffin as to go alone. Various things happen on the night of the dance, and the episode might end at a moment of suspense.

The next episode could begin with Harper waking up in the morning, and checking her phone (if it hasn't been confiscated) for messages from Griffin, and not finding any, trying to call him, but can't reach his phone. So she thinks that his phone is still in the past and decides to look for him.

And if Jessica tries to forbid it, Harper might say something like:

"Griffin and I were planning to do something important, and maybe dangerous, last night, and he said he would go alone if I couldn't make it. Thanks to you, I couldn't make it, and now I can't contact him. Something terrible could have happened to him, like what happened to Savannah. So I'm going to go see if he is alright, and If you think that looking for a missing child is worthwhile, you won't try to stop me."

Arriving at the hotel, they might find that Griffin is missing, and Harper goes through the portal to seek him. And possibly she confronts young Jess, asking if she killed Savannah and Griffin.

And possibly Jess might say she thinks maybe the legendary bog man got them. Savannah used to lie and say she knew where the bog man lived, and even told Jess directions to his lair.

So possibly Harper and others might follow the directions to the bog man's lair, and find who knows what.

Possibly the bog man might be an old hermit who Savannah befriended, and she might have run off to be with him.

And there are many other possiibities.

So that is my guess about one possible future plot of Secrets of Sulphur Springs.
