script seemed unfinished or slapped together

this was BAD. so so poorly written. christopher columbus is getting sloppy if he bothered to direct this dreck. the scenes made no sense. no linear story at all. just one scene then another, then another. totally choppiness. nothing led to anything. ridiculous. this as a script in any class (or as a short story) would get a D -. maybe an F. absolutely terrible transition...and this was adapted from a book? you must be joking. and a book that did well? huh? terrible. at least the lead actor and his best friend were pretty entertaining and decent actors as hayden and the other actors SUCKED.

i don't need the script. i saw the movie. and since the sequencing of the movie will be based on the script, then i've "seen" the script. get it? and it was a D- script. just awful. terrible pacing, writing, everything. how the hell do these people get hired? they'd flunk out of college english.

yeah, but they could've also ad-libbed some stuff, and also there might be some scenes that have been deleted, and there could also be some more insight to their characters and stuff.
