I really liked it. It was fun.

I haven't read the book, but I enjoyed this for what it was - a teen 'boy wants girl' flick. It wasn't the funniest movie on the planet, but it wasn't aiming to be. It was just a light-hearted teen comedy film and it exceeded my expectations.

I thought the lead guys were amusing (the lead guys nose was HUGE!), and I loved Hayden as the wacky, crazy and not-so-typical Beth Cooper. I also loved the two Lauren's as they were hilarious sidekicks and I initially thought they wouldn't be in the movie that much or in the background with no lines. The script was good for a comedy and there were quite a few moments which I thought were amusing.

I can't believe some people are calling this the worst movie of 2009 or even one of the worst ever. Calm down! Are people pissed because Hayden didn't get nekkid? Lol. I don't know what people were expecting from this, but it isn't a terrible film.

Anyway, it was much, MUCH better than that piece of garbage 'Miss March' from earlier this year, that's for sure, and I thought it was entertaining.

My rating: 7/10.
