Not that bad at all

I really expected this to suck. Don't get me wrong, it's no masterpiece, but given the poor box office, bad reviews, and 1 star from my cable company, I thought it would be much worse. It's a cute, funny at times, completely unrealistic silly little movie.

I agree. Quite frankly the scene at the end where she says "thank you for loving me" was the icing on the cake. Yes, a silly movie but there was heart in some of the scenes which more than made up for the unrealistic side.

Reminded me of John Hughes movies right down to the John Hughes ending.

' I'm with you guys 100%!

' Only just got around to seeing the movie today... And, to simply summarise my impressions thereof:
' it's a fun, lighthearted movie that actually has a beautiful core to it and message in it.

' Having had some experiences in my life that enable me to understand, empathise with, and relate to the essence of the story that's revealed around that conversation during which that line "Thank you for loving me" is delivered... That and the previous conversation that leads up to that point... I thought is was wonderful really.
' It sold the whole film to me. I had enjoyed it up to that point as a fun, light entertainment with a few nice laughs scattered about. But once that reveal is done... Well... It raised the whole piece in my eyes and I finished the film feeling very happy with my time spent. :-)

' So there. <Chuckles>
