I cared more about Rich than Dennis

I found Rich's story way more moving than Dennis. Dennis was a smart rich kid who fell for an awful reckless, bitchy girl. Rich had a troubled home life that I was way more drawn to and his coming to grips with being gay was just a lot more interesting. I didn't care Dennis got beat up so much but the way Rich couldn't fight but was always there I think meant something.

Did anyone else resonate with Rich's story?

Yeah. He was definitely the heart of the film. Without him the film would be without my sympathy whatsoever. Especially because I couldn't believe Dennis was so pure of heart, mind and soul in concerns to Beth Cooper (he had a life-sized poster of her above his bed; what purpose does that have if not to jerk off before you go to sleep?). But really, that guy made the movie. Great performance too.

He was indeed really wonderful. And even at the end when we find out about his dad...crazy
