Yeah. You're pretty much right. But I've seen "Can't Hardly Wait" about 10-15 times. I think I've only seen Beth Cooper once. I probably should watch it more because I love me some Hayden Pannetiere. Definitely more than Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true!

HP does look good but she has never and will never look as hot as JLH did in her prime. Watch JLH in "Heartbreakers".

I don't think there is that much in common between the two movies. They have teenagers in them, there are graduation robes and a party scene in each. This one starts with a speech which results in instant contact with the girl of his dreams. He then spends the rest of the movie visiting different locations with her and some friends. The other one is all about going to a party right from the start and the party goes for the whole movie. There is no speech at the start and the guy doesn't even talk to the girl of his dreams till 3/4 through when she yells at him because she doesn't know who he is. Also the guy with the girl of his dream is a small part of the movie not really what the entire movie is based on. Can't Hardly Wait has multiple plot lines whereas I Love You mainly has one major plot line throughout. There are a couple of common teen themes explored, bullies, immature boyfriends I suppose but I don't think they're very similar films.
