What happened to the arm

Considering every other piece of the creature managed to animate itself when separated from the body, how come the convict's arm just disappeared after they chopped it off?

reply

I'm assuming they burned it or something.

wouldn't be surprised if there's a deleted scene that dealt with it. can't count how often what seems like a plothole of some sort turns out being the result of editing things out and not realizing the reprecutions.

because yeah once the arm comes off, we never hear anything about it. gives the impression they dealt with it.

The bf shot it and it landed in the fire. But what happened to the first hand ?

The bf shot it and it landed in the fire.

... the hardest thing in this world is to live in it...

No, the boyfriend shot the FIRST arm and it landed in the fire; the one from the Lacey/Cop thing. The first hand metabolised itself to death. The convict's arm is never shown after it's broken off; we can assume they threw it outside or dealt with it in some way.

The arm got chopped off in the cooler, maybe it could not function in the cold.

reply

Literally - it's on ice.

Well there are 2 out of 3 people to deal with a single arm. I'm assuming they pretty much decided to disable it first, maybe pack it with something and well, I don't know. Burning it would be a pretty big scenario. Anyways, I don't think that this is a major plothole. They dealt with it. This is a horror movie. Not much to assume that this was going to be a flawless masterpiece.
