The Thing from The Addams Family, so hilarious.

I just came here to see if anyone else found that scene just absurdly stupid to the point of a great laugh. This is on sy-fy right now and I didn't even know what the movie was but I can't believe that scene got out of the test screening. I mean was the audience afraid to speak up?

It reminded me of the same thing.

Reminded me more of Bride Of Re-Animator...

Reminded me of the part in John Carpenter's 'The Thing' when Palmer turns around and sees the head that has spouted legs (resembling a freakish spider) and says "You got to be *beep* kidding!" and also in 'Aliens' when Ripley and Newt are trapped in the medical room with the two face-huggers.

Thought I'd add that!

Hovis!

Hahaha, glad I wasn't the only one laughing my a** off during a supposedly serious scene.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

It reminded me of the movie Idle Hands.

THE STRAIN airs at 10PM on FX.
