Anyone else coming to the premier in Leicester Square this Sunday?

See you there!

Yes, me ! I wonder if any stars will be there ??? Even if there isn't, I'm still looking forward to seeing the film. Enjoy the movie !

You lucky guys ! I'm so envious !
Anyway, have a great time and let us know (not spoilers though) if you have liked it !!!

Premiere? On Sunday? I have seen it already on Thursday! ;-) (See London Film Festival Thread)

Oh Dear. looks like I might be mistaken about the 'Premier'! Never mind. (I was going on what Mr Ross said on Film 2009.)

Never mind, Norman, I was only teasing! I am sure today was the grander affair, I only went on Thursday because Sunday had already sold out. So what did you think? And were any of the crew and cast there?

reply

It was FABULOUS !!! Yes, some of the cast and crew were there, and so was J. Fellowes, so most certainly worth it just for that. Timothy Spall was there too. There was a Q&A at the end of the film, with J. Fellowes, and that was good. Well worth the wait, as it's a brilliant movie. Princess Michael of Kent was there too - quite exciting to be in a cinema with royalty !! Very nice occasion, for sure : D

Yes, t'was a good screening.
I was sitting a few seats away from Christopher Biggins.
Interesting Q&A session with Julian Fellowes, Timothy Spall and Pauline Collins.
Fellowes confirmed that there was still no official release date.

Enough of name-dropping, what did you think of the film?

reply

Quite Good, a few scary moments for younger children, and Maggie Smith was excellent.
