I just don't understand why there is no sign of any trailer or any info at all - is it being kept back because it seems to be better than people thought and might be being held back because of the awards season?
Perhaps they're waiting for the Harry Potter excitement to die down a bit, otherwise 'From Time to Time' could miss out on some of the attention. Yeah, would be great if the movie ended up being considered for awards - Maggie for best actress anyone ?!!

I'm not sure, alas, that she could expect an award for the best actress (I suppose Linnet is only a supporting character).... Anyway, I'm as impatient as you are : no official pics, no trailer, nothing... I know that July and August (except for Harry Potter, which is a major exception) aren't the best months to release a movie... Perhaps they'll wait until late November or December, because it's a movie for the whole family and especially for children, the sort of movie you appreciate on Xmas time; I don't know, but I do that if I was the producer... And if I'm right, it'll be long for us !!! Grrr...
Yes, you're right: Linnet is only a supporting part, but I'm being hopeful here.... very hopeful.... It's quite frustrating now, as there's been nothing much said about the movie at all. Harry Potter publicity is everywhere; but for me, FTTT looks the far more interesting film. I think you could be right about the movie not opening until the end of the year - HP will be gone by that time, and yes, it's a great time to release a family film. Could be a long wait for us, right; but let's hope that it will be well worth the wait, yeah ?! : D
shareThey only finished filming this a few months back so there will be months of post production. I would think it will probably arrive in the cinemas around Christmas time or sometime next year. Give it time!

Yes, it most certainly does deserve to be released as it's a lovely film that has been beautifully made. It also has a wonderful cast of course ! It certainly looks like Fellowes is looking for a distributor - perhaps he has several interested but he's just trying to pick the best one. I'm not really worried, as the movie is going to be released, for sure, it's just that it's taking toooooooo long. If it is going to be 2010, then I hope that it will be like January or February, so that we don't have to wait long. It's not like Fellowes is someone new trying to 'make' it in the industry, so I guess that gives him a much better chance of getting the film bought very soon. We just have to cross fingers and carry on being patient I guess.
