Yeah it's been a great year. There are exclusions that I did expect and feel kind of bad for like Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Lopez. But this is a popularity contest. It happens.

They didn’t. I’m saying that I’m okay with the fact that they’re not included amongst the nominees.

Outside from The Lighthouse snub (especially Willem Dafoe) and all the Joker noms, I'm quite happy. Nothing compared to last year's which was probably the worst Oscars in years

I agree with you 100%. A bit overboard on Joker, and The Lighthouse should have received multiple nominations.

I haven’t seen Ford v Ferrari but otherwise, Jojo Rabbit aside, I like all the Best Picture nominees, which is a rarity. I do feel that Parasite towers above the rest, though.
