No amount of star power in this movie including Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor Joy, Rami Malek, Taylor Swift, etc. could save it.

The only one of his movies that made a killing was Silver Lining Playbook. The rest of his movies have done OK to low box office. This movie was never going to do well, but he is a director who has won awards, so the studios don't care as much about box office with him.
