I liked it and so did my kids, what's the fuss all about?

I didn't see any lesbian kiss, did I have a different version? There was a few second of Hawthorne explaining that she got engaged and a few times we see her together with her wife, but that's all, no kiss. It's weird and unnecessary (kinda like real gay relationships, like how do you decide who bears the child and who's just the adoptive parent) but it was real quick and I don't think my kids even noticed.

Other than that it was great, the action, the laser shooting, the robots, the animation etc. all great! Funniest moment for me was when Buzz blew into the autopilot like an old N64 cartridge to get it to work. The main thing I didn't like was - SPOILERS ---------- who they made the enemy to be, Buzz from the future. What the heck? And he even had to kill him, kill himself. But at the end of the credits turns out he didn't die, but the present day Buzz didn't know that. So, that was also weird and unfortunate.

I liked it too though I didn’t expect to. Maybe that helped? I’m going to have to watch it again because I didn’t pay attention at first.

My son was surprised by the pregnancy since she had a wife, but that’s possible now. In the future, the kid could very well be from both. Nothing against adoption, just noting that science moves on.

I liked the twist on the enemy. It was a nice twist on the father joke. Old Sox! That was just so harsh. Old Buzz was dead to me the moment he attacked Old Sox.

I don’t think Old Buzz survived. I think that was Zurg reawakening, but that’s just a guess.
