I just HATE movies where characters are all clearly stupid. From the beginning it's set up that everybody is a moron except the son who knows what's going on. Terrible for parents for not even giving any credence to his fears. If I had a child that freaked out I would have taken him to another house. RIDICULOUS.

I would have at least given him a different room if he was completely terrified of the attic. I'm sure the teenage daughter would have loved a more private bedroom.

But yeah.. most of the characters were complete morons in this movie. It was hard to root for anyone.

that pizza scene, how could they ignore their son who was terrified??? I disliked the whole family in that scene

I think they should be more worried about the idiot father who wasted what little money they had on buying useless items.. after all other cards were declined.
