I've just finished watching both. The 2015 version, is for those with no taste, and can't get into it without non-stop CG fx... (and pretty poor ones, at that).
The 2015 has no depth, no creativity, and nothing to make you relate... or even humor. The music is... is... did anyone even notice the music?
I felt like I ordered Coke, and got a pepsi.
