Critics liked it more then the audience. Either way I honestly like this film. It just fun. And it doesn't completely remake the original. It adds different things so it's not just a carbon copy of the original. Beautifully filmed also.

shareYay, I'm not alone! I'll always have the original and now I'll also have this, what I think of as a alternate universe version. Could never quite get why people get so upset and emotional over a remake or whatever you wanna call it? You can always go watch the original and have nothing to do with the new iteration. Or you can like them both on there own merits.
