I really wanted to like this
I really wanted this remake to succeed, I loved the original and this universe has sooo much potential. The show started out well enough, but man... it just sucked. Such a shame too, especially since it had Raimi on as a producer. I found myself in a similar scenario when Kingdom of the Crystal Skull first came out, I just couldn't bring myself to admit that it was a bad a movie for the longest time. I am all for remakes and re-envisionings, but can it really be that hard to make something of decent quality?
However, props for the drill scene... that was awesome. Those type of quality sequences are what I wish to see populating todays remakes.
