Remember the Poltergeist curse?

Most of us do, the original Carol Ann ( Heather O'Rourke) died sadly of either a brain tumor or heart condition, the older sister Dana something was beaten into a coma by a jealous ex boyfriend, sadly she died about a week later, and though not confirmed, the young man who played Robbie was believed to have died in a car accident , not sure on that, but that actor Julian something who played Henry Cain in the trilogy, although he did a brilliant scary job in part 2, he was a very rather sick mofo off camera, I mean nasty. Taylor is dead too. At last count Craig T. Nelson, a very under rated actor and JoBeth Williams were still kickin

I always love that bit on making of the Exorcist and they are talking about the Curse on the film, and when they get to Max Von Sydow he's like "nah there is no such thing!"

:)

I think there was a curse. The curse was to have fans like the OP.

I think the real Poltergeist curse is that each movie gets progressively worse.

Now we have this.

I went on this board to see if anyone had mentioned it cos I have just started watching this and it got me thinkng. I remember freaking out when reading that Heather died. I don't remember how old I was when I read it but it was soooo scary. And then even more people turned out to have died which was even scarier. Sure, I'm an adult now. But I know for sure that I would not let my daughter play the Heather role. Juuuuuuust to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry. I would also like to say, that if there would be such a thing as dying of a curse, you could die of all the causes in the world. Your negative comments seem to imply that there is an actual deadly disease called curse.
