Should have been played by Kiernan Shipka. She looks so much like Dominique Dunne it's insane...25 years ago I would have said Winona Ryder but it's a bit late for that.

The girl playing the "Carol Ann" character does look quite a bit like Heather O'Rourke.

Winona Ryder was in poltergeist 3 so that wouldn't have worked anyway.

You're getting Winona confused with Lara Flynn Boyle - they were sorta similar in the late 80s/early 90s
