Buying a home
How can they buy a house when neither of them work.
shareIts Obama's America...you just get stuff and assume someone else pays for it.
shareWhat kind of free stuff do we get in Obama's America again?
That hexagon-face bitch, she's so passive-aggressive.
Medical insurance, phones, and lots of other freebies if you're illegal.
shareYou also get it if you have multiple babies and claim not to know who/where any of the fathers are. Even if he lives with you.
shareActually, most welfare states are red states. But don't let facts and actually thinking get in the way of a good Obama joke.
shareThanks, you beat me to it. Obama-haters are perfectly happy spouting out assertions without any facts to support them. And often get offended when they're presented with facts.
shareFirst, no. Second, even if true, it's a non sequitur as the state has little to do with a federal assistance program.
shareMedicare and Medicaid: Johnson ("Obamacare" isn't free).
Free phones: Reagan, expanded to include cell phones under G.W. Bush.
Since you didn't see fit to specify just what "lots of other freebies" might include, I can't address those, but suffice it to say that illegals are not eligible, or have only limited eligibility, for most government assistance programs - nearly all of which predate Obama by a good many years.
He gutted welfare reform, taking out the work requirement. Who cares about phone freebies when you can get money without doing anything for it?
sharethis kind of scenario would've been much more likely to happen under bush. banks were giving out loans to anyone with a pulse. there was all kinds of predatory lending. remember the sub-prime catastrophe? obama inherited it. your comment is flippant.
shareMaybe its Trumps Americure where white people now get 4 dollars a hour so billionaires and companies can pay less tax and save on wages.
My pee tastes like toast
The wife is a writer, so I assume she has money from selling books.
shareThey very clearly are living in debt. Instead of choosing a small house or a decent apartment and lived comfortably they wanted to live it big and in debt.

The spirit of abysmal despair
thank you. i could not get past this lack of logic so i turned it off. i'm normally one who can suspend disbelief but this was so glaring it would undermine the entire movie. there's just no way they would buy a new home unless maybe they paid all cash, but that's unlikely.
shareThe house was in foreclosure. I'm sure they had enough savings to afford it.
