This might have already been said...What if Anna told the lady that there is an afterlife but was lying just to screw with her...so then the lady offs herself to go straight there (but really entering "nothiningness")...could that be possible?

shareI like your theory because I don't think that Anna was lucid after so many months of torture. She was almost catatonic.
shareHonestly, whatever it is that Anna saw, it was probably just delusions due to her mindset from being tortured. If anything, she probably just said nothing or told her about what she was seeing, which was probably all just in her head. I had near death experiences from Grand Mal Seizures as a kid and most every time, when I was asked what I saw, it was quite literally nothing. I did have some instances where I basically saw my family just standing there staring down at me, but otherwise it was like standing in the dark, but you can't hear or speak or see.
