Does it really matter?

Am I one of like five people that was able to enjoy this without caring what was whispered at the end? It's a guessing game and while there are some interesting theories floating around, asking people what was said or what they thought was said or what you think she said... Pointless.

It is completely open to interpretation until the writer states otherwise, which to me kind of takes away from the intrigue and any smidgen of philosophy this film is still capable of injecting, because without it it's just another gore flick.

I didn't care either. The whole "afterlife" thing is beyond me. I just made a post talking about it. I was just glad that whatever she did whisper to that lady caused her suicide, so I support whatever it was.

You CAN'T know what she whispered at the end. If you did, you'd kill yourself. That's the idea. So certainly, the writer can't know either or he'd be dead. Any ideas people have about what she told Madame that they can also relate here must be false, or we'd all be dead. Let's hope no one lives long enough to post The Truth.

I think that those who freak out about not being able to enjoy the movie because there was no answer at the end, are the same type of people who believe the world is black and white and need everything spelled out for them. While I found the torture and the psychotic nature of these people horrible, I did enjoy this movie.
