I just binge watched...
Green Inferno, A Serbian Film, Inside, Martyrs and Salo and I don't even know which one I thought was most disturbing

shareThat's hilarious. LOL. It's a hard question indeed. Depravity everywhere.
There are no men like me... Only me.
I find Cannibal Holocaust and Megan Is Missing quite disturbing. Salo, A Serbian Film, and Martyrs didn't really bother me. Martyrs and Cannibal Holocaust are the best of the "disturbing movies" lot. I haven't seen Inside yet, though I really want to!

I thought about doing that. I wanted to see all of the disturbing movies but then I decided not to sink further into depravity. I've only seen Martyrs, The Green Inferno, and Irreversible and those didn't bother me.
shareI thought all those films were boring

IMDB things that didn't happen.
shareThese are all great but disturbing can be subjective. However, a little known film to Western audiences from Germany takes the cake easily. It makes August Underground, Salo, and everything else look like a PG film. Here is a link to the Parents Guide of said film. Just be warned, it's highly unsettling even to read and is without a doubt the epitamy of vileness.

Green Inferno and A Serbian Film are cheesy.
Eli Roths movies are not disturbing at all.
Not sure what disgusts me more, the way the horror genre has gone down the pan, or the muppets who think these kind of films have a place in the genre.
How can anyone actually sit through the whole of a Serbian film? It's not as if it's entertaiNing or engaging to watch. Is it so they can brag to people that they saw it?
There's a very fine line between being a good horror film and having some squeamish moments, then there's rubbish like Martyrs. Saw is a good example. The first one was excellent, it was clever, chilling and at times tense. The less said about the direction it took with its sequels the better.
if you think saw is good and martyrs is rubbish, you are a special kind of clueless :'>
