Wtf!!!!???
As a dog and animal lover this movie was excellent if very sad and it hit the right notes. Prayers for the real hachi btw

But Hacinko had an A list cast, an Oscar nominated director with some big hits under his belt and a superb Pvs.

It would have cleaned up at the box office for sure as it did a solid 47 million overseas. Shame on Sony or stage 6

The fact that it's now well inside IMDB's top 250 and getting a lot of positive word of mouth for people to purchase it on DVD is some justice at least.

Yeah, I have no idea why it wasn't released in the US. Mind you, I would have had to sit in the theater for 15 minutes after the movie finished, just to compose myself to be seen in public...
