That is exactly what I was thinking. Akitas are huskies so they are perfectly ok to be out in the cold but I have no understanding of how a human could make their beloved pet sleep outdoors.
My dogs all sleep inside; I don't care about the shedding hair or the drool, it's all part of the package. Once I fell asleep on the couch when my dog was outside and I woke up at 2:00am and instantly ran to let him in. He was only out there for about 4 hours but I felt bad about it for days. I don't understand people who keep their dogs outside 24/7.....
