What's with the credits?
I always enjoyed the credits for Deathproof. But I don't get if it's a reference to something or what's the deal with the random pictures of women?

sharei don't think they were random. recall stuntman mike taking pictures of the women as he stalked them? what i inferred from the pictures that stuntman mike had done the same things, many times over, and over the course of many years. as sheriff mcgraw said, 'it's probably the only way that degenerate can shoot his goo.'
and, as with any serial killer, he developed a pattern... find your victim, stalk them, take their picture several times, and then kill them, using the same method every time.
"Cinema was made for fantasy, rather than normal types of stories." - Ray Harryhausen
No, that's not correct....those weren't past victims. If you watch the beginning of Jackson County Jail (1976), at the beginning when the main character is airing a Televison commercial to a prospective client, one of these girls appears before the commercial runs...Remember, things aren't as easy with Tarantino movies as all that....Everything comes from some other film(s)...
shareThe random stills of women are "China Girls" or "Leader Ladies".
Here's an article that explains it better than I could:

No matter how old this classic gets, it's always nice to find out fun facts about it.
