Amazing Film, Sh*t Ending

Let's be honest, the girls at the end were unlike able af, Stuntman Mike is the best character in the film but they just let a bunch of random psycho-b*tches kill him. Sure he was a psychopath but he did not deserve to go down like that. I would have preferred if he actually KILLED a few of the second group of girls, that way they would have an actual reason to seek vengeance. Rather than: "oh let's just kill him".

Jason Vorhees and Michael Myers would have killed two of the girls before the third turned the tables. This analogy actually supports the OP's post. To support their level of vengeance, at least one of the girls should have died.

We're not talking about the audience's motivations for wanting Stuntman Mike to die, only the charachters' motivations. So the first set of girls is irrelevant to the discussion.

I agree that Stuntman Mike's attempts to murder the second set of girls provides a good deal of motivation to seek vengeance, but without at least one of the girls dying, I don't see there being enough motivation to kill someone in cold blood.

For this kind of motivation, a character needs to have enough of her future taken away (e.g., friends dying) in order to get to a point where she would believe that a life in prison would be an acceptable outcome for her actions. A real grindhouse film would have killed some of the second group of girls.

I'm not saying that the movie is terrible because one or two of those girls didn't die, but I do think the movie would be better if there had been only one left at the end.
