I love this film!
I think that a lot of people are taking this too seriously. It's pretty dark humour to pay homage to 60's/70's grind house/exploitation films! If you haven't seen any of those films then I guess it could be a bit strange.

Jackie Brown is my favorite QT movie but after seeing Grindhouse in the theatre 4 times,
Death Proof made QT my favorite director. The opening credits just blew me away. I felt like I was really about to see a 70's horror movie. Growing up in the 70's I've seen a lot of horror movies. Mainly a lot of tv horror movies back then. Seeing DP was definitely an awesome trip down memory lane.
