One scene during the siege of the U.S. Embassy showed the mob entering an office to find a portrait of the Ayatollah Khomeini riddled with darts. Did that really happen?

Who knows! The point is it could have happened and fits in well with the story being told.🐭

I don't doubt that it did. I remember being a kid during this time, and seeing paper copies with the Ayatollah pinned up to many dart boards.
